Black Reebok Ceiling

I was talking to Rames last week at Midvalley Gardens during the Reebok SG Strap launch about bounce flash photography and we both came to the same conclusion:

"First thing people check out when they're at an event are the stuff in front of them. But photographers..they check out the ceilings!"

Cause when you have a black ceiling and no diffuser, no light gets reflected on your subject, leaving you with pics like this.

It was my first time at a fashion launch event though.

I was excited to berborak-borak when I reached, the last thing which I thought of doing was..ironically...to check out the shoes haha.

So here they are.

These limited edition models are very high shoes and so bulky it'll make you look like you have tumours on your ankles.

I personally prefer the un-limited models which were on the other rack.

As you can see I'm trying to keep up my azam of trying to beautify my photos i.e. watermark, crop, fx etc. Nice right. Right?

 

Damn I want a diffuser.

 

That day was also the day where I managed to pull off one of my 2009's resolutions:

I met Amanda Choe in person. Now I'm a Happy Man XD She is really sweet and corny funny in person.

So the hungry bloggers moved on to Delicious! We were supposed to go to *I quote Josh* 'Whatever-Gary' (Kim Gary) but didn't quite make. I'm not sure why.

 

And Josh being The Man treated us to a (my 5th) round of Yee Sang!

 

 

 

It looks good, but it tastes....okay lah.

It's like...frying CharKuehTiao with Fettucine..or making Bakuteh with American Ginseng soup..just a little too westernized. And they don't know how to cut their carrots properly.

 

The good news is that, the food was great! I enjoyed my dish very much but the bad news is I can't remember what it was ahaha.
